Please arrive in Taipei (TPE) at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport on October 28th. For travelers coming from the U.S. West Coast, Taiwan is 15 hours ahead. Most flights will require you to depart very late in the evening on Monday, October 26 (around 11:00 p.m.) or very early in the morning on Tuesday, October 27 (12:00–1:00 a.m.) in order to arrive in Taipei on the morning of October 28.
For travelers coming from Europe Taiwan will be 7 hours ahead when you are traveling due to Europe switching back to standard time on October 25th. Plan to depart Europe on Tuesday, October 27 to arrive in Taipei on Wednesday, October 28. Depending on your flight and connections, this will generally mean departing sometime Tuesday morning, afternoon, or early evening.
When booking your flight, please double-check that your arrival date shown in Taipei is October 28, as international travel across time zones can make the dates a little confusing.
